The minimum computer specification currently supported by learndirect is:

- Internet Explorer v5.5 or v6.0
- CD drive: 24x speed
- Sound card (16 bit)
- Speakers or headphones
- Keyboard
- Mouse (Microsoft compatible)
- At least 40kps internet bandwidth per computer
- All latest critical and recommended Windows security patches, available from the Microsoft Windows update site.
